U.S. SENATOR HILLARY CLINTON ACCEPTS NH DEMOCRATIC PARTY'S INVITE TO "100 CLUB" DINNER

***SPECIAL EVENT***

The New Hampshire Democratic Party today announced that U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY), who officially entered the 2008 Presidential campaign last Saturday, has accepted its invitation to be the guest speaker at its annual "100 Club" Dinner in Nashua on March 10, 2007.

"Senator Clinton is a dynamic, articulate leader who will be welcomed to the Granite State stage with tremendous excitement," said Kathy Sullivan, Chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party. "We're honored Senator Clinton has agreed to be a part of a very special evening for New Hampshire Democrats."

The "100 Club" Dinner, first held in 1959, was originally organized by New Hampshire supporters of then U.S. Senator John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts as a way to raise his profile among Granite State Democrats and Presidential Primary voters.

Since then, the "100 Club" has been the premiere fundraising event for the New Hampshire Democratic Party, and has featured some of the most influential Democrats in the nation, including Presidents Kennedy and Clinton. Recent guests have also included U.S. Senators John Kerry, Joe Lieberman and John Edwards; Governors Howard Dean and Mark Warner; and Vice President Al Gore. Tickets are $100 and those interested in purchasing them can call the New Hampshire Democratic Party at (603) 225-6899 or visit http://www.nhdp.org/100club.
